The Grief Recovery Method®
Group and individual therapy can be a great way to overcome the loneliness that comes with grief and loss. Using the Grief Recovery Method®, we follow rules to ensure you feel safe. Safely reflect on your past and discover ways to move forward. We will talk about loss, discuss the painful things people say to us during difficult times, and find better ways to cope and heal from our experiences.

"I will be here, I will be strong,
I'll face my fears when the night is long,
And still go on.
I will be brave, I will be bold,
Follow my faith to a higher road.
And I'm not there yet,
But I will be."

The Interventions
Brainspotting (BSP)
Brainspotting targets the brain and body, connecting with the autonomic and limbic systems with music, eye gaze spots, and body attunement. It is a powerful tool that can bring about real changes in our thoughts, feelings, and physical state.
EMDR
Focusing on distressing thoughts while using a structured, therapist-led approach helps in understanding and processing traumatic memories. This method connects difficult experiences with healthier ones, aiding in healing.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
DBT aims to help people live in the moment and cope with stress and emotions. This is done through four main skill groups: mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
We all have different parts within us with extremes. IFS helps us understand our internal parts. Learn how to to live with the 8 C’s: confidence, calm, compassion, courage, creativity, clarity, curiosity, and connectedness.
